Following these tips will help you avoid scams, stress, and unnecessary expenses when hiring a moving company.

Not Getting a Written Quotation

Always get a detailed, black-and-white quotation. If a company only gives verbal estimates, they might change the price later.

Ignoring Reviews and Reputation

Don’t hire a mover without checking reviews on Google, Facebook, or forums. Bad reviews, unresolved complaints, or no online presence are red flags.

Not Confirming Hidden Fees

Some companies add extra charges for stairs, heavy items, or long carrying distances. Ask about all possible fees upfront.

Choosing the Cheapest Option Without Checking Services

Low prices often mean poor service, untrained workers, or hidden costs. A reliable mover balances price and quality.

Not Asking About Insurance Coverage

Is there any deposit?

Yes. A deposit of $100 is required to secure your booking. Attention: The deposit is not refundable if the booking will be cancelled less than 48 hours before servicing time.

How can I change or cancel my booking?

If you want to reschedule or cancel the booking, please do so before 48 hours. Otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited.

Are there any additional charges?

Price quoted is not included fees for applying permit, especially for private condominium or restricted premises.

Is there any insurance coverage for loss and damage to property which incurred during the move process?

No. Loss and damage incurred during the move process is not covered by us. However, we can arrange 3rd party insurance provider to cover and claim for your valuable items or damage to property during the move process. We recommend that you acquire adequate insurance cover of your own for your valuable goods submitted for removal, transit and/or storage, against all insurable risks.

What is the payment method?

We only accept below payment on immediate terms:

Are you able to dismantle or setup the special electrical appliances?

No. Our movers are happy to take special care moving these items for you, however we are not technicians and cannot assist.
We assume no liability for electronic set up and dismantling.
However, we do include dismantle of the TV from wall brackets in our full house moving service.

Do you provide storage?

Yes. We offer customized storage solutions for home and business that gives you access to long-term or short-term storage solutions.
